Fair day! While I was in the Orange Country area last weekend, I decided to cross another activity off my summer bucket list. We arrived around noon where we parked and entered the fair grounds. We had no plan and no clue where to even start. We walked around looking at all the greasy food and colorful fair rides until we ended up going in a large tent. The tent was filled with booths and our eyes locked on the free samples. The three of us watched a man create beautiful art using fruit and vegetables (in the center photo above, you can see a flower hair clip he made me)! We tried some organic food, kombucha, and some dipping olive oil which were all delicious. We then continued on and found a small barn where they held animals of all sorts. One section was full of different kinds of bunnies, big, small, long, short, etc. In another section of the barn was a mini horse, goats, sheep, and more that you could pet and feed.
By this time we were starving and made our way to get some food where we ended up getting Mexican food since it looked the healthiest and cheapest. I got the closest thing to a burrito bowl you could get without meat, cheese, or our cream while the boys split a plate of nachos. Three hours had passed and we all decided that we were too broke to drop a lot of money on rides and headed out. It was an active, fun day at the fair with great company!
