I sit here reflecting on the experiences of the past couple months

the ups

the downs

and the in betweens

And begin thinking about what the rest of the term holds for me.

 

five more weeks

less than two months

thirty five days

and then I’m back home

in my own bed

with my family

 

bittersweet

everyone says.

 

I love London

the busy streets, unfamiliar areas, harsh humor

But I also miss home

being able to drive, yosemite trips, laughing with high school friends

 

I will enjoy these last couple weeks

but also look forward to being home
